He had a 1946 Gibson acoustic he bought new, that I have since acquired. He was a patient man, and showed me all the basic open chords and how to play a few simple country songs

I listened to Rybird’s new album, Music for Interrogation, and it’s a full-on, energetic musical adrenaline rush. Every track grabs you and pulls you in and doesn’t let you go, and then swirls around in your mind for a long time after it’s over.

Music didn’t just give me energy, it controlled me. Depending on the style of music being played, I may have become subdued and relaxed as opposed to dancing. I would really be attracted towards mood music that affected my mood, and dreamy music, that encouraged daydreaming.

Many times a transistor especially will cease to function when it warms up or gets hot. So we carefully start at one end and freeze a transistor and wait 30 seconds for the temp to drop before moving on to the next transistor. If we hear that the pedal or electro widget starts working, we have found the culprit
