so I didn’t get to go out this evening, but I DID go out to an open mic…in the afternoon, which is kinda weird IMO…the roomie and I did some stuff in the morning, then we came home for a bit…then we went out to do more stuff…like the open mic…I was not alone onstage [...]

I got the call–the gig is canceled…apparently the venue booked another band…I can only guess that THEY got there first…a financial bummer, but otherwise? not so much…the weather isn’t good, which can have an effect on the turnout…I’m tired/sleepy or something…besides being [...]
