the trade-offs of Death and other stuff
2012-07-30 at 06:26 pmIt’s true that ya can’t hear much less play Music when yer dead…but ya don’t have to listen to tone deaf humans trying to sing/play your favorite songs either…no one tells you they love you when yer dead; but ya don’t have to wonder if they really mean it either…whatever makes you happy doesn’t exist when yer dead…but neither does whatever makes ya miserable…just sayin’…
after nearly a week of being excited about a gathering of “friends” on Saturday I can report that the word I would use to describe my experience at the party is ANTI-CLIMAX…SO sorry I used the gas to get there and back…I did some singing with a ragtag group of Musicians, but I hope there are no vids on youTube…the two different duos I THOUGHT I’d be sitting in with both had played by the time I got there, and I wasn’t THAT late IMO…by the time my friend Michelle got there, the party was winding down, so WE didn’t get to play–mostly because I’d had enuff and I left…she stayed, she played…without me…kinda weird, SHE was the one who suggested leaving but she didn’t follow me when *I* left…I firmly believe her Ego is needier than mine, if not by much…as for Ferrante and Dillon, they are all talk and no action…on the other hand, my few sit-ins with them (as a singer) were not my best work…and I know that…
for now, and the foreseeable future, Life is Shit…
