Manic Sunday

Just another Sunday. I was out mowing the grass, it is 86, considerably cooler than it has been, the sun was blazing. I don’t think I have mowed or even opened the garage door since early June.

I had to sweep scores of spiders off the door before I could open it. When I opened the Door I got stung/bit. It burned like hell. I was concerned one of the Brown Recluses had got me. I got bit by a Black Widow back in 2005. But it was just a Wasp. They had built a nest on the other side of the door. So I knocked down the nest and got rid of the Wasps.

My new friends may not know that I use and Electric mower. The mower uses 2 24 volt rechargeable batteries. I recharge this batteries with a Solar Panel that hangs in a south facing window in my basement. Kinda like having a Solar powered Grass Mower.

Now I need to go over my bills and see what my finances are like, after a shower. I have my Mowing clothes in the wash. I need to get Dylan’s whites out of the drier.

After determining what bills need paying and when, and determining how much money we have for food and gas. I will need to check the refrigerator and see what me and Dylan NEED for the coming week, as neither of us do anything but work monday through Friday.

I hope you all have been able to enjoy a lazy Sunday.

But for me, Tomorrow’s going to be another working day… ~Paul Simon.

It’s Sunday …. Raise a Joyful noise….

  8. Poor Otis dead and gone left us here to carry on ~Jim Morrison… I talk in song Lyrics, I am now old enough to have to give them credit so people don’t think their mine.

I love Otis Redding. But you have to give miss Aretha Respect few know this is a Otis Song…

And these young men from Georgia do a fair job on “Hard to Handle”
