I don’t think Friendburst is the place for a potty-mouthed and bad-tempered Brit… So I’ll fuck off and leave it to the tree-huggers and bad poets. 
I haven’t done the “math” (as you Americans say – and rightly so, I may add), but I would estimate the majority of blogs on Friendburst are about politics in the US. It’s what people like to write (getting things off their chests, cos they know there’s fuck-all they can do about anything) and it’s what people like to read (they like to know they’re not the only ones who have things to say – even though they know there’s fuck-all they can do about anything). People like a good debate too. It gives them something to do – even though they know there’s fuck-all they can really do about anything.
I don’t care for politics (not just US politics), for that very reason: There’s fuck-all anyone can do about anything, cos ordinary people have no power. The Presidents and Prime Ministers of the world have an enormous amount of power (and they are all corruptible). They have clever and powerful advisers (or arse-lickers) – and, for all of them, it’s all politics. By that, I mean: The people (of any and every country in the world) will be screwed over, time and time again, in favour of economics (it goes hand-in-hand with politics). Politics is all about economics – favouring the powerful and the greedy; not the “man on the street”.
It doesn’t matter which political party is in power. With the best intentions in the world (which very few politicians ever possess), they all succumb to the greed factor. It happens every single time: A political party promises so many things… And gets the people to believe them. Once they’ve had a taste of real power, it all goes out the window. They fail to deliver. The promises are forgotten, and the people are screwed – again and again and again. History has repeated itself so many times… I’m surprised anybody still hopes a brighter future may be possible.
On that happy note, I will fuck off and leave you all to it. Bookmark this blog, and refer to it when your political party of choice inevitably lets you down. Mark my words: Nothing will ever get any better… :-(

I asked around, and it appears “pinging” is when a man spits out that little piece of toilet paper he sometimes finds while he is eating out his woman. I’m not quite sure why Friendburst doesn’t allow it, though. I mean: What else are we supposed to do? Swallow it? Gross!

The vast majority of blogs on this site are written by one person who posts ten blogs a day about movies, T.E.D. (whatever the fuck that is), and the Gaian calender…
Point being, you’re right and wrong. No, there’s not much audience anymore, but it ain’t because of American politics.
Where else is there?

You know that I only ever log in here to read your blogs, right? This is probably one of the very best political non-political blog I’ve read in a long, long time. All of your observations are dead on. We love to read and write about it, we love to debate about it, but at the end of the day, there’s not a damn thing we can do about it. This depresses me because, as you know, us silly Americans are in an election year and let me just say I’m pissed off about the one we have now and pissed off about the one who is trying to take his throne. They both suck, but one sucks a little less than the other, so I guess I’ll vote for him and hope for the corruptible best.
