Hand in Hand
I dreamt
we walked hand in hand
our footsteps making
love-letters in the sand
I felt your body’s warmth
alongside of me
as we paused to gaze out
at the surging sea…
surging like the emotions
tumultuous in my breast
as you whispered ardent poetry
I felt your warm sweet breath…
we gazed into each others eyes
our souls caught up
in liquid sighs
a slowly rising morning sun
touched our skin
but the warmth we felt
for each other
radiated

I couldn’t catch
But from the field

Right now my hands are suppose to be busy tidying up… I hate Monday appointments; its Sunday in Australia and tomorrow a woman is coming to take photos of the unit as the owner has put it on the market … so I better get to it… will pop back in when I need a break!

I do each and every day

She git on me last nerve
I may raise me voice

Myself fallin on my knees to pray
Lord please please for give me for she knows now
As I when a child she taught me the way
Now I have to be the mom
When its my turn to me
Its not easy
Yet love be there

Lord knows I do my best

THESE HANDS
In these hands
My mother held me
So gentle and warm
Nurser me with much love
Warm and tender care
She did hold me close to heart
I love my mom wit love my heart
And nothing can ever
Ever take that place
These hands
Washed me
Brushed my hair
And dressed me with care
Taught me right from wrong
And show me the way
These hands
Learn me how to cook
Clean and do all
All that I am
Is of my mother doin
And showin of
How to make
A house a home
I did learn from me mom
No matter how ole
And raggy it was to be
Life was be best
Livin under my mothers shadows
She loved me unconditional
As I loved her
We were one it would seem
My mom was also my friend
Was not a thing that I wanted that

I got it any ways

EMBRACED
Hands still reaching
across the miles
and many years,
still cradling my heart
and easing all my fears;
hands wiping away the tears
almost before they begin to fall,
I still feel my mother’s hands,
so very patient and strong.
And on this Mother’s Day
as every year before,
I still feel my mother’s hands
guiding me along the way,
a hand of sweet encouragement
a tender pat on the back.
Whenever I begin to feel down,
my mother’s hands are there
to lift my spirits and
to buoy me back up.
To this day
and after so many years,
all the way from Heaven above,
I feel my mother’s loving touch
upon my heart and soul
and because of her
and through her hands,
I can face and embrace
all those yesterdays
as living within my todays
those hands still lift me up
with the promise and hope,
touching my heart
when I least expect it,
but when I need it the most.
