Yes, people are so preoccupied with appearances -- that they become like an opaque veil clouding the vision -- and they never see the stark reality infront of them.

That is an excellent philosophy. What is the point of pretending to be what you are not? Far better for people to get to know as you and not as some strange invention. Good blog and a good piece of philosophy too. I wish they would have a philosophy on here too

Beautiful write, Jeff. I’ve felt this way so many times. People in my “real” life never see the true soul that encompasses me. It also feels weird to get older and accept all the changes that brings. Thanks for the mind trip. ;-)
