My Prayer ( Poem)

I raise mine eyes
To the heavens above
And pray to my Lord
Bind my mind
As not to think evil
Bind my tongue
as not to speak foul
Bind my hands
From all things they
Should not lay upon
Bind my heart
From ill feelings
Toward my fellow man
Bind my feet not
To trespass
Upon another’s land
Let all I think
do and feel
Be honorable
The rest of my days
On this earth in which
I am passing through
As long as I have breath
Left within me
Let me be giving
And forgiving
So that my heart be not
Heavy laden
This is my prayer

And my prayer is to be kind to others, to love, to count my blessings,not quick to make judgments on others, and mostly forgive the pain others have sent to me.
