I see her sitting quietly
Pen poised in hand,
a million thoughts surround her
things she don’t understand;
She has a tranquil aura
that’s what the world see’s
but it’s all an illusion
an illusion she precieved
§§
upon a scrap of paper
her thoughts come into view
just mere words upon paper
rhyming as they do…
just idle bits of paper
with verses written on
to some they have meaning
and other there’s a song..
§§
she lets people read then
these whimsical thoughts of hers
they think they understand
the words in which they immerse;
but the words are just words
mere thoughts upon a sheet
just general ramblings
so clear headed she can sleep
§§
she doesn’t think when writing
the words come from elsewhere
but rhyme and meaning they have
it seems so unfair
i see her sitting alone
scribbling down her words
thoughts from another world
things others havent heard
§§
she seems to hear then
listen to what’s there
pluck those verses right out
right out of thin air
jumbled thoughts around her
ever rhyming in her mind
poems sent from somewhere…
somewhere undefined

Great write Angelica… Not all writers do verse in rhyming form. This is a fantastic poem.. and not all that is written is from one’s life. God bless.

Beautiful job Angelica. We as poets have the ability to create masterpieces of poetic art from the simplest of words. At times, those words come to us slow, and at other times, they come to us right away. The come to us from all sources, and with hard concentration, thought, and careful passion, we can create a beautiful poem.

I love this Sweet Angelica i like to write but i never let anyone read it i am afraid it wont make since to no one the way it does to me i love reading your work you have such a beautiful soul and have such a special way about you that no one elese has.

When i write something i don’t worry if it will make sens to others , it’s like someone told be years ago , give a book to 10 different people they will understand 10 different story
Does poetry needs to make sens to everyone ? I don’t think so
I’m sure that what ever you write about makes sens as YOU wrote it
