  1. July 21, 2012…’The End Game’. I believe they are capable of violence. These people live in a state of hate and anger. Eventually shouting and holding up signs won’t cut it. They are desparate, and desparate people do desparate things.

    Scarry.

I wouldn’t put violence past them, or stepping their craziness to incite others to violence. I wonder why they chose July 21, 2012? If they chose December 21, that would make more sense.

  2. This does shed light on Fred’s personality and dysfunction. It is so very sad.

Yeah, it does and, surprisingly, it’s not very surprising.

  3. Scary stuff.

Is there anything we wont do in the name of God?

Probably not. I’d say almost everything has been done in the name of God at some time or other.

  4. hmmmmm. interesting and shows that your environment doesnt always turn you out to be the person you become as an adult.
July 21st, 2012 as the end of the world?
Fred is crazy and he missed that its December 21st as according to the Mayans.

There is no scholar that backs up the Mayan theory and they also say that the Mayans who came up with this theory were also arguing with each other about its credibility.
Fred Phelps is more than likely TERRIFIED of earth science research.

Oh, I doubt he’s terrified of earth science research. He probably has no clue such a thing exists.

As for the Mayans, well…. they had to end their calendar sometime didn’t they?

  5. This guy is so remarkably well-adjusted considering the 18 years he endured in his father’s world. It’s inspiring to see people like this who can keep their wits about them and carry on to be so balanced.

I was especially impressed to see that he didn’t go on to automatically vilify all things Christian after his escape. It would have been very easy, and probably gratifying, for him to fall into a good/bad black/white viewpoint regarding religion.

It is inspiring. It’s encouraging to see people think for themselves despite the massive brainwashing from childhood.

Sad about his sister, though. She got out of it, then for some odd reason went back.
