PAPERWING MAGICAL

Origami butterflies,
tiny papers folded with care,
just yesterday created,
each magical paperwing.
And into my imagination’s garden
I release my butterflies,
their colorful folded paper wings
fashioned with love just yesterday.
And within my special garden,
they find the perfect flowers,
planted for them each one.
And they waltz among the flowers,
my favorites one and all,
the daisies and the buttercups,
the tulips and daffodills,
dancing among the wildflowers
and occasionally stopping
where they sip sweet nectar
and share a bit with me
as I watch in wonder and awe
and with them I inhale
the fragrances of summer
as they share their colorful
paperwing canvases
with me as I watch them,
exquisite works of art,
resting among the flowers
in my imagination’s garden
and held within my heart.
