A lost paradise is one I find myself in often. Riding my carousel horse through life, I always want to get up and change my seat to another; searching for a better view, a better ride and a better horse. The conductor of life never allows such things. And so, I’m often left inside myself. Suffering from logorrhea, no doubt others think looking in as I mutter to myself more often than to others.

 

My mind isn’t a very pretty place or friendly neighborhood at times. If I hang around too often I could injure myself. Heh, I picked that one up from recovery with my daughter. Of course the answer should be that this is the reason for sharing with others. Well, I’m not much into sharing and quite frankly quite selfish. And just why should I expose others to the dangers of my own mind. It’s best bottled up like a secret poison. Let out through pages a little at a time. Just enough to make them weak but not totally devastated.

My logorrhea may seem nothing more than a mad man sputtering utter nonsense to myself. But, if you’re real observant, if you take the time to notice, it’s not meaningless. It’s simply a small glimpse into the insanity which lies within. And sometimes, just sometimes…..a glimpse of brilliance.
