Watching leaves fall as they may
I'll get to my chores by and by

The air feels crisp, smells so sweet
Gentle breezes whispering in the trees
Just kicking at leaves with my feet
There are no better moments then these

Would be wonderful to be a child again
To simply enjoy a day such as this one
Listening intently to the song of a wren
Not a thought of what's not yet done

Alas and alack, I can't tarry any longer
The trials of an adult world are calling me
I admit, this time's made me stronger
