My standard answer to all rope and pulley riddles is is 34 minus 4,plus 2 minus 2,times one,however in this case since the riddle also involves a Monkey the often misunderstood and risky equation of A squared minus 22 must be also used.I am sure you all understand,However a warning must also be issued to Carsten for excessive chicanery for using a riddle on a quiz only page.
